Terms and Conditions

  • Our fixed prices are based on the assumption that information you provide about your property is true and your property is in a condition that we decide is a reasonable condition. If your property is not in such order we reserve the right to charge items contained in our 'Extras' list.
  • If stains remain after carpet cleaning we are not liable. Some stains can never be lifted from carpet.
  • In any circumstance where correct cleaning methods are used to clean an item (such as carpet, flooring, furniture or any object), if an item reacts unusually to the chemicals used, Pax cleaning is not liable and takes no responsibility for it. This includes colour changes, wear and tear and any damage done. The client will be responsible for any damage costs unless they have indicated prior to the clean that an item needs to be treated differently to the normal methods used in cleaning.
  • Curtain cleaning is not included in an end of lease cleaning package.
  • Furniture, appliances and cleaning of personal belongings is not included. If there is furniture, appliances and belongings present in the property we will work around them without moving them. If our cleaning does not pass inspection because there is dirt left over from where those belongings were left, we do not take responsibility and you will need to pay a fee to re-clean. If you do require them cleaned we will charge an additional amount that will be discussed with you on the day. However, we do not touch or clean personal property.
  • High pressure cleaning of hard surfaces is not included in an end of lease cleaning package.
  • If there are any light fittings or items needing to be moved, these must be shown to staff prior to cleaning. If we can't easily remove the fitting and our staff were not shown, we do not take responsibility for the cleaning of that fitting.
  • Full payment is required upon completion of the job on the day the job has taken place.
  • If there is a problem with cleaning and a section needs re-cleaning, an e-mail has to be sent to info@paxcleaning.com.au within 48 hours after the job has taken place along with a list of what needs to be re-cleaned. The inspection is to be done by a real estate agent or the landlord of the property. If we are not contacted within 48hrs we will not take any responsibility for re-cleaning the property.
  • We do not under any circumstance offer a refund, only re-cleans which are free of charge.
  • Unreasonable requests for cleaning and re-cleaning that we find unreasonable will be refused.
